Holding a PhD in Software Engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal, Michel de Champlain has more than half a century of experience in R&D in the design and implementation of compilers, real-time operating systems, and virtual machines, as well as practical experience in C/C++, Java, and C# programming languages, in both industrial and educational contexts. For the past 30 years, he has given presentations and seminars on embedded systems. He also designed and implemented the B# language to facilitate development in the embedded field through his specialized coaching and training firm, DeepObjectKnowledge. Michel has always worked closely with the industry to help implement best practices in software engineering. Truly passionate about his work, he has trained thousands of people in Quebec, Canada, the United States, Europe, and New Zealand.
